What’s an area of need?

The Foundation works closely with ProHealth Care to identify areas where our fundraising efforts can best improve the health and well-being of Waukesha County and the surrounding area. We choose “areas of need” that are in line with our community’s health needs.

When you donate to ProHealth Care Foundation, you may choose for your donation to be put toward one of the following high-priority programs or initiatives.

Cancer services

Every day, 84 Wisconsin residents are diagnosed with cancer. Your gift helps ensure patients and their families have everything they need to thrive during cancer treatment and beyond — and that they can find it close to home in Waukesha County. Learn about comprehensive cancer care at ProHealth.

Heart and vascular services

Heart disease is a leading cause of hospitalization in Waukesha County. That’s one reason continually improving cardiovascular care is so important. Your support helps us expand preventive care and bring the latest advanced treatments to our community. Explore heart and vascular care at ProHealth.

Hospice care

When you earmark your gift for hospice services, you help us provide compassionate end-of-life care to people with terminal illnesses and their families. Your support allows us to make sure no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Each year, we serve 500 patients.
